This Exergy diesel fuel injection pump is engineered for the verified 6.7L Cummins, early application applications listed below. It is selected by exact manufacturer part number E04 20310, not by appearance alone. Confirm the complete vehicle, engine family, production split, fuel-system configuration, and calibration requirements before ordering. Introducing the Exergy 550 Alpha CP3! The first of an industry leading series of pumps set to take the CP3 pump platform to the next level! Based on our legendary 14mm Stroker pumps, the 550 Alpha CP3 carries the output trajectory 1000 RPM farther than previous and competing CP3 Stroker pumps, peaking at an output of 550 liters per hour. This makes it the perfect pump for high RPM race applications that spin beyond 4500 RPM. Note: The 550 Alpha pumps will require a different supply line. The original supply port is plugged. This plug should never be removed. The fuel supply is fed directly into the billet gear pump

Key Features

  • This makes it the perfect pump for high RPM race applications that spin beyond 4500 RPM.
  • The 550 Alpha pumps have a proprietary MPROP/fuel pressure regulator design for optimum rail pressure control without impeding max pump performance.
  • Primary fuel supply requirement for max pump performance: 200 GPH @ 15 psi per Pump.
  • Based on our legendary 14mm Stroker pumps, the 550 Alpha CP3 carries the output trajectory 1000 RPM farther than previous and competing CP3 Stroker pumps, peaking at an output of 550 liters per hour.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will Exergy E04 20310 fit my Dodge Ram 2500?
It fits only the year range and engine application shown in the fitment table. Confirm the engine family, production split, fuel-system configuration, and exact Exergy part number before ordering.

Will this pump require tuning or supporting fuel-system changes?
Performance stroker and race pumps can require calibration, adequate low-pressure supply, compatible lines, and supporting fuel-system upgrades. Follow the requirements for this exact Exergy pump and the vehicle’s current build.

Should the fuel system be inspected before installation?
Yes. Diagnose contamination, low-pressure supply, rail-pressure faults, damaged lines, and related injector or pump issues first. Installing a new component without correcting the cause can damage the replacement part.

Installation Instructions

Follow the current Exergy instructions and vehicle service information for this exact part number. Work only on a clean, depressurized fuel system, cap open lines immediately, use new required seals, lubricate seals only as specified, and torque fittings and components to the published values. Prime and bleed the system correctly, check for leaks, verify commanded and actual rail pressure, and complete any required calibration before operation. Professional diesel-fuel-system installation is recommended.
